The Japan-Thailand AI and Sustainability Summit (JTAS) aims to foster collaboration between Japan and Thailand, as well as among global researchers and practitioners, in driving AI-based solutions to address global sustainability challenges. See conference topics

      Hotels near the conference venue.
      Please book your hotel yourself. The JTAS Organizing Team does not book your hotel.

      Participation fee (subject to change):

      • On-site: Presenters, Co-authors 
        10,000 Yen (or 70 USD) per person
        This fee includes in-person conference participation and the summit lunch on August 24.  
        Please pay in cash at the conference venue on August 24 or at the tour on August 23.
      • On-site: Non-presenting participants: Free of charge
        The summit lunch is not included. If you would like to join the lunch, please pay 5,000 yen per person (prebooking is required by August 10; contact Prof. Kato Takaaki).
      • Video presentation: Free of charge

      Language:

      The presentation language is English. Abstracts and papers should be written in English. 

      Presentation modes

      a. On-site presentation: 

      For a regular presentation, 15 minutes for presenting and 5 minutes for questions and answers. Please bring your presentation file or your laptop computer. 

      b. Video presentation:

      Video presentations are uploaded to the JTAS YouTube channel by the conference date, and conference participants can watch them and leave comments for one year.

      • Video length and content: 10 to 15 minutes of research presentation video, including a brief introduction of yourself, research objectives, methods, results, discussion, and conclusion.
      • Language: English
      • Video format: MP4
      • Deadline: August 20, 2025 (extended)
      • Submission method: Please use a file transfer service (e.g., We Transfer) and send your file to tkato25@gmail.com

      Conference proceedings and publication recommendations:

      Abstracts and full papers will be included in the “Proceedings of the 2025 Japan-Thailand AI and Sustainability Summit (JTAS).”

      The conference organizers are cooperating with the editorial team of Supply Chain and Sustainability Research, and the organizers will recommend good papers to be submitted to this peer-reviewed journal.

      Certificates

      The presenter will receive a certificate of presentation. Either an on-site or a video presentation is necessary to be eligible for the certificate.

      Submission Guidelines:

      • Abstract: (Submission closed)
      • Format: A 300-500 word abstract is required for all submissions. [submission closed]
      • Peer Review: All abstracts will be reviewed to ensure high-quality presentations.
      • Submission: Please send your abstract to the organizer’s email address.
      • Full Paper (optional): 
      • Format: 5-10 pages in A4 size. No designated format. Please include title, author information, abstract, keywords, main text, and references. Please submit a camera-ready manuscript so that we can include it in our electronic proceedings.
      • Format review: The format of the submitted papers is checked, and revision may be requested.  
      • Submission: Please send your paper to the organizer’s email address.
