Japan-Thailand AI and Sustainability Summit (JTAS)

The Japan-Thailand AI and Sustainability Summit (JTAS) aims to foster collaboration between Japan and Thailand, as well as among global researchers and practitioners, in driving AI-based solutions to address global sustainability challenges. See conference topics

Tentative schedule:

      Participation fee (subject to change):

      • On-site: Presenters, Co-authors, Non-presenting participants
        10,000 Yen (or 70 USD) per person
        This fee includes in-person conference participation and lunch on August 24.  
        Please pay in cash at the conference venue on August 24 or at the tour on August 23.
      • On-site: Non-presenting students: Free of charge
      • Video presentation: Free of charge

      Language: The presentation language is English. Abstracts and papers should be written in English. 

      Presentation modes

      a. On-site presentation: 

      15 to 20 minutes, including question and answer time. Details will be posted later.

      b. Video presentation:

      Video presentations are uploaded to the JTAS YouTube channel by the conference date, and conference participants can watch them and leave comments for one year.

      • Video length and content: 10 to 15 minutes of research presentation video, including a brief introduction of yourself, research objectives, methods, results, discussion, and conclusion.
      • Language: English
      • Video format: MP4
      • Deadline: August 14, 2025
      • Submission method: To be announced later

      Certificates

      The presenter will receive a presentation certificate.

      Conference proceedings and publication recommendations:

      Abstracts and full papers will be included in the “Proceedings of the 2025 Japan-Thailand AI and Sustainability Summit (JTAS).”
      This abstract will be uploaded to this website by the conference date.
      The conference organizers have cooperated with the editorial team of Supply Chain and Sustainability Research, and the organizers will recommend good papers to be submitted to this peer-reviewed journal.

      Submission Guidelines:

      • Abstract: (Submission closed)
      • Format: A 300-500 word abstract is required for all submissions. [submission closed]
      • Peer Review: All abstracts will be reviewed to ensure high-quality presentations.
      • Submission: Please send your abstract to jtass2025kitakyushu@gmail.com (note the “double s” in the email address).
      • Full Paper (optional): 
      • Format: 5-10 pages in A4 size. No designated format. Please include title, author information, abstract, keywords, main text, and references. Please submit a camera-ready manuscript so that we can include it in our electronic proceedings.
      • Format review: The format of the submitted papers is checked, and revision may be requested.  
      • Submission: Please send your paper to jtass2025kitakyushu@gmail.com (note the “double s” in the email address).
